Emily VanCamp

Emily Irene VanCamp is a Canadian actress known for her roles as lead actress on a number of TV shows, as well as her powerhouse performances in movies. She has a large following on American and Canadian television. When Emily was 12 she became interested in acting after she visited her sister Katie at the location of one of her film. When she realized her love for acting she started taking acting classes and went for auditions. The first time she was cast, she appeared in commercials, but she was not cast until being offered a role on the Canadian kids' horror TV show Are You Scared of Darkness? The only thing she could get was one that was silent. In the WB television show Glory Days, she received her first major break when she was just 15 years old. Emily's talents attracted the attention of Greg Berlanti when the show was cancelled after only nine episodes. The show's creator cast Emily for Everwood, his new TV show. Additionally, a dancer and a photographer Emily was once listed by Teen in their list of top actors under 20. In Maxim's Hot 100 2014 list ranked her at number 51.

A baby was strapped to my back while another crawled around in the playpen. I spent 12 hours days for months sanding and stripping wallpaper while carrying one kid. Ha!
