Nadia and Carol

Nadia Comaneci is a Romanian gymnast (born 12 November 1961, in Gheorghe Gheorghiu Dej (now OnestiGheorghe Gheorghiu Dej [now Onesti] Romania). She was the first to achieve a perfect 10 on an Olympic occasion. Bela Karalyi came across Comaneci at the age of six. Later, she would become the Romanian gymnastics coach. Comaneci competed for the first time in the 1969 national junior championships and finished 13th. In the following year, she won the title of champion. In 1972, during a meet of communist countries juniors before the Olympics, she took home three medals of gold. Then in 1973 and 1974 she won the overall junior champion. In 1975, she took home 4 gold and 1 silver at her first senior international contest. Lyudmila Torishcheva was a five-time European Champion. The first female ever to successfully perform reverse double saltos while dismounting from an uneven parallel bar. Carol Wayne.........................Carol Wayne was an American film and TV actor best recognized for portraying Art Fern's Tea-Time Movie Lady on The Tonight Show Starring Johnny Carson. Her journey in the entertainment business began during her teens when she started skating figure with her younger sibling Nina Wayne as part of the shows that traveled around that were known as Ice Capades. Carol Marie Wayne is a United States citizen, born on the 6th of September 1942 in Chicago, Illinois. Carol began her career in entertainment in her teens. At the age of a girl she started her career as the figure skater alongside Nina Wayne in the travelling entertainment program Ice Capades. The shows were ice skating performances that were followed by musical performances.
