Katherine Heigl shares her experiences living in a white bubble changed the way she raised her family of multiracial origins. In a recent "Firefly Lane", "Grey's Anatomy" and "Grey's Anatomy" actor Katherine Heigl shared she was not concerned about her complexion until she got to know her adoptive sister from South Korea. "I wanted to know Meg whether she felt that she was treated differently when going out with us parents than when she went out alone. She said, 'Oh, yeah, all the times! Heigl admitted to parents, "That made me realise how foolish I was." Heigl said she got angry and felt that it was important to focus the anger she felt on her adoptee daughters. Heigl is the mother of a 4-year-old son who is married to her 13 year old spouse, Josh Kelley. Their daughter Nancy Leigh was adopted from South Korea by the couple in 2009. Adalaide is an Black 8-year-old girl adopted in the year 2012.
